Position Description:

Job Summary:  Responsible for the maintenance and repair of field service and shop equipment and machines.

Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Practices safe work habits and complies with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
  • Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive maintenance work on machines and equipment: Test trailers, torque wrenches, generators, air compressors, lubricators, etc.
  • Interprets complex maintenance manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine repair and troubleshooting procedures
  • Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and proves out maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and other machine repair
  • Follows lockout tag out procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education, Training, Experience:  High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:  None Required

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of wellhead and frac related components
  • Ability to repair diesel and gas engines
  • Ability to repair hydraulic pumps and components
  • Ability to weld and use plasma & torch cutter

Required to work extended hours from time to time and possibly nights, weekends.

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.

Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (outside weather conditions); high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration.

Occasionally exposed to toxic and caustic chemicals; risk of radiation or electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
