The Quick Connect (QC) BOP Adapter provides substantial rig time savings over making up API flanges to the wellhead. Once made-up to the BOP offline, the BOP adapter can be easily connected to the wellhead with a standard API ring gasket. Low torque engagement pins with segments quickly and securely make-up the connection improving both safety and reliability while eliminating the need for any special torque tooling for installation. Adapters are available in 11″ and 13-5/8″ in both 5,000–10,000 PSI ratings.
